Practice Covid Update

Your Health and Safety Are Our Top Priorities
We want you to feel confident in knowing we’re committed to maintaining a safe environment for our patients and staff.

At Burnside Dental we have implemented practices above the standard recommendations to ensure this.

We are always following the highest of infection control standards and we continue to monitor the guidelines that are set. It is our priority to keep you safe as well as preventing the spread of infection.

Here’s what you can expect:

At your appointment

Please reschedule your appointment if you have any COVID/Flu like symptoms
Please Reschedule your appointment if you are awaiting the results of a COVID test or are currently a close contact of a positive case.
Please try and bring only yourself to your appointment. For our younger patients we ask to try and limit one parent for each child and to try and limit to the children only having appointments attending. We understand this can be difficult and if this is an issue please contact us to discuss further.
We are trying to limit the number of people in our waiting room. If the waiting room is busy we may ask you to wait outside and seating has been provided at both front and rear entrance.
Depending on what COVID restrictions are in place you may receive an SMS prior to your appointment asking you to reply to the SMS when you arrive and to wait outside until the clinician is ready. Please adhere to the details given if you receive this SMS.
Please wear a mask or face covering when you arrive at our office, and don’t remove it until you are seated in the dental chair.
We have provided hand sanitiser for you to use.
New patient forms can be completed online to limit contact.
We ask you advise us on arrive of your Covid Vaccination status so this can be updated in your records.
If you have arrived from Overseas there may be a time period in place before you can attend the clinic but we ask you contact us as soon as possible PRIOR to your appointment.

Our Office:

Our hours of operation remain the same
All staff are fully vaccinated
All staff are screened on a regular basis
Office staff will wear a mask at all times
Clinical staff wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
We have regular wipe downs of all surfaces throughout the practice which occurs multiple times a day.
All staff are trained and continually updated on office protocols in regards to Covid 19
