At Burnside Dental Clinic and Implant Centre Dr Hitesh Ghai is our leading Principal Dentist. He is joined by Dr Mayuri Sahgal, Dr Mark Moore and Dr Surbhi Sehgal along with a team of experienced Oral Health Therapists, Hygienists. We pride ourselves on our exceptional care of our patients and you can be assured you’re in safe hands when you visit our clinic.
Dr Ghai has a Masters Certificate in Implant Dentistry, and has been the principal dentist at Burnside Dental Practice since 2009. He has a humble, down to earth nature and loves all aspects of dental care. His special interests in dental services include implants, full mouth rehabilitation and oral surgery. He stays at the forefront of all recent advances in clinical dentistry, and is diligent in providing dental care procedures while using state of the art technology, materials and equipment.
Away from the practice, Dr Ghai loves spending time with his wife, daughter and dogs, and is an avid golfer, cricket lover and has a keen interest in motorcycles.
Dr Mayuri Sahgal is the co-owner of Burnside Dental Practice with her husband, Dr Hitesh Ghai. Dr Sahgal graduated from University in 2007, and has worked in private practices since then.
Dr Sahgal is very gentle and patient in her manner, and enjoys treating patients in Adelaide of all ages, from very young, through to the elderly. She is a strong believer in the importance of preventative and conservative dentistry. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, but her special interests include Invisalign treatment, root canal therapy and cosmetic restorations.
In her spare time, Dr Sahgal enjoys spending time with her family, daughter and dogs.
Dr Surbhi Sehgal (Dr Surbhi) graduated from The University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, and is currently working within the private and public sector. She believes in high quality, patient centred care, through a comforting and friendly manner. Surbhi is always striving to make sure that her patients in Adelaide feel comfortable and supported in her care, and she takes pride in her ability to build trusting relationships with patients of all ages.
Dr Surbhi has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry and minor oral surgery, with a strong commitment to continue her professional development.
Outside of work, Dr Surbhi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and is always on the lookout for good walks and new brunch spots.
Dr Ryan Bilogrevic graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2018.
He has a special focus on creating a calm and reassuring environment for patients with dental anxiety, and believes that fear of treatment should never be a barrier to receiving essential care.
Ryan has a keen interest in endodontics and dental implants, and has undertaken further study in the field of periodontology.
Above all, however, he prioritises good oral hygiene and preventive management as the first line of treatment.
Outside of work, when he gets the time, Ryan and his partner enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, camping and 4-wheel driving with their dog.
Lauren has been a part of the Burnside Dental Practice team in Adelaide since 2013, and has an Advanced Diploma in Oral Health. Lauren is passionate about going the extra mile to help her patients achieve, and maintain, a healthy smile.
Lauren has a big personality, and is very thorough in her profession. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages, and catching up on how their lives have been since their last visit. Lauren is happy that she has developed a very loyal patient base.
Away from work, Lauren enjoys pilates, walking her dog Ollie, and spending time with her friends and family.
The practice is very fortunate to have a great team of dental assistants to support our dentists.
Due to the complex nature of a lot of our treatments, the girls require a very diverse skill set. From Dr Ghai’s surgical patients, Dr Sahgal’s wide variety of patients and procedures (from children to Cerecs to root canals), their days are never boring. They have many years of dental experience between them and are all fantastic at their main role – making their patients feel comfortable and at ease.
Agastya is a new addition to Burnside Dental Practice.
Agastya graduated with an advanced diploma in oral health and is very passionate about prevention of tooth decay and management of gum disease.
Known for his gentle approach and friendly demeanour, Agastya ensures his patients who have dental anxiety feel comfortable and well-cared for during their appointments.
Agastya is dedicated to providing thorough and personalised care, believing that a healthy smile begins with a strong foundation of preventive dentistry.
Beyond the dental chair, Agastya likes to go to the gym, play cricket and actively practice martial arts.
Belicias is excited to bring her passion for dental hygiene to the Burnside Dental team. She is dedicated to providing gentle, high-quality care and educating patients on the importance of preventative oral health. She takes a patient-centred approach, ensuring each individual feels comfortable and well-informed about their dental care. Belicias enjoys building strong relationships with her patients and helping them achieve and maintain healthy smiles for life. Belicias says there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the difference she can make in each person’s dental health journey.
When she’s not at work, she enjoys doing Pilates, catching up with friends, and exploring new restaurants.
Since 2023, Eddie has been a valued member of the hygiene team at Burnside Dental Practice.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Adelaide in 2006.
During his final year, he was awarded a scholarship to attend and present at the World Oral Health Week Seminars at INHolland University in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Eddie is passionate about promoting and maintaining the oral health of children, teenagers, and young adults. He is particularly skilled in supporting anxious patients, focusing on creating a calm and welcoming environment where individuals feel comfortable and at ease during their dental visits.
When he’s not working, Eddie enjoys spending quality time with his four children

Mandy has over 20years experience in the dental industry and has worked for the government, private and specialist clinics.
She is an asset to our team, being multi-skilled you can find her working in all areas of the practice.
Mandy is passionate about ensuring our patients get the best quality service, she will happily spend time discussing treatment options and plans with our patients.
When she’s not working, Mandy likes to spend time with her family, she has two sons which keep her busy.
