Parwin has been an integral part of our hygiene program here at Burnside since 2010.
She has a special interest in treating patients with moderate to advanced periodontal disease, and like all of our hygienist / therapists, has a strong preventative focus.
She has a warm and caring nature and can quickly and easily build a rapport with her patients be they 8 or 80!
When not working with us, Parwin loves to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Lauren is the newest addition to our dental hygiene team.
She has been in the dental industry since 2008 and has been with us at Burnside Dental since 2013

Thu was first exposed to dentistry at a young age through relatives working in the industry.
Thu wanted others to experience the same positive feelings associated with dentistry and so she studied to become an oral health therapist (dental hygienist and therapist). She also briefly worked as a dental assistant during the Christmas of 2008 – 2009. Thu believes that educating and motivating patients and their families about preventive dentistry in terms of home care is just as important, if not more, than the treatment received in the dentist’s chair. A healthy mouth is paramount to attaining good general health.
Outside of work Thu enjoys playing tennis, the piano, DIY arts and crafts, and eating ice-cream and gelati of all flavours.
Fiona has been with the Practice since 2008.
As well as coordinating our busy reception area, she also keeps the practice running smoothly. With 24 years in the dental industry, she has a wealth of experience and knowledge. Her caring nature and ready smile will help put you at ease.
When Fiona isn’t running the desk, she’s busy running after her kids and running around the Torrens. She also enjoys baking, a glass of bubbles, and the company of her friends and family.
The practice is very fortunate to have a great team of dental assistants to support our dentists.
Due to the complex nature of a lot of our treatments, the girls require a very diverse skill set. From Dr Ghai’s surgical patients, Dr Sahgal’s wide variety of patients and procedures (from children to Cerecs to root canals), their days are never boring. They have many years of dental experience between them and are all fantastic at their main role – making their patients feel comfortable and at ease.
